Sacramento Newborn Photographer | Baby Tyler

Baby T, he took my breath away. He was as petite and perfect as they come. I was so thrilled when Lynne e-mailed about a newborn session, I loved meeting her and Allen at their engagement and wedding years ago! I have loved following their travels and youthful fun on social media over the last 5 years and it was such an honor to meet their new little boy. Lynne said she was told she was having a girl, and they had received clothes, blankets, and set up a nursery for a little girl. Then Baby T was born and he was clearly a boy! The surprise was incredible and they were so happy to welcome their son into their home. It was quite the transition but oh, so worth it. He was so sweet and calm, an absolutely adorable baby boy, and I was smitten by his beautiful features and dark eyes.

I want to extend (again) my heartfelt congrats to this special couple! Thank you for inviting me into your home and allowing me to photograph your precious boy.

Sacramento Newborn Photographer | Baby Everett

Oh baby. I have loved this couple for years. Stephanie and Andy have been in front of my camera so many times, their engagement, wedding, maternity, and now their newborn photos with their new baby boy! Baby E is a perfectly sweet little guy, Steph says he cries sometimes but overall he is a love. Those first few weeks with a baby are always so hard. The payoff is incredible and having a baby is worth the sleepless nights and endless worry. Those sleepy grins, soft cooing, that precious new baby smell I wish someone would bottle and sell, the way they finally smile up at mama and let her know it will all be ok, worth it. I miss those days and it is always wonderful to photograph a newborn…it takes me right back to those moments and we are all in it together.

I loved seeing these two with their baby. They are naturals, completely loving and patient, and absolutely infatuated with their little guy. It was truly an honor to visit their home and photograph them in day to day life, bath time, rocking baby to sleep. These are my favorite kinds of newborn sessions! When parents are free to be themselves around their baby, I can capture the little moments that mean so much to me (as a parent) and hopefully to my sweet clients.

Sacramento Newborn Photographer | Melissa + TJ

Between the time Melissa and TJ met me for their maternity session and the day I dropped by for their newborn session they finished working on their baby girl’s nursery, brought home baby, celebrated with family, and had completely fallen in love with their new addition. I was smitten with baby Isla from the moment I met her. She is a dream, sweet, cuddly, and has dimples and perfect baby chubbiness for days. I can see why they are infatuated with her.

I was thrilled to head back to their home and spend some time documenting this sweet newborn phase that flies by so quickly. I cannot think Melissa and TJ enough for trusting me with their photos. This is a huge life event and I am always honored to be welcomed into a home to photograph maternity and newborn.

This pretty much sums up the “ohmygosh we have a baby!” feelings that race through you when you bring home a newborn 🙂
