Folsom Family Photographer | D Family

Thank you to Chrissy and her beautiful family for allowing me to take their first “official” family photos! I loved meeting their adorable son and lovable dog. I have been a proud dog owner, recently losing our Bear. So it meant a lot to me that Chrissy wanted to include their family pet in their photos. You can’t have too many images of your loved ones…including your pups. I wish I had taken more family photos with Bear over the past few years.

We decided to meet in Folsom at one of my favorite woodsy areas. It is hard to find these pretty pockets of green in Northern California in the fall, but we managed to find the perfect place for their session! Folsom is gorgeously perfect for family shoots 🙂

This family is really fun. Like really fun. They laughed at all my corny jokes and had a genuinely fabulous time together. It is not a surprise their little boy, S, was smiley, curious, and a complete joy. He is the apple in their eyes 🙂

Sacramento Family Photographer | Allie is One

I was so, so very excited to photograph the adorable and sweet A for her 1st birthday photos! I had the pleasure of photographing her as a newborn 🙂 She has really grown up since these newborn photos were taken! We decided on a gorgeous natural location in Livermore for this family, and I headed out to meet them…looking forward to seeing the family again. Gina and Joel are lovely parents, both are caring and compassionate and are already raising a sweet little lady. I cannot get over how smiley and happy this little girl is! We did a variety of photographs with her, her mom, dad, and her sweet face alone 🙂 And of course, we had to get in a few shots of mom and dad together! They are still so in love!

Folsom Family Photographer | Cueva Family

Sydney and Ben and Charlie and Max met up with me in Folsom on a balmy October evening. It was 80 degrees outside and the sun was low in the sky complete with beautiful and soft light for their family session. It really was a perfect evening to document Max’s 6 months and get some family photos with their growing children!

This adorable and sweet family of four are one of my all-time favorite family clients and I have LOVED seeing the kids grow up over the last couple of years. I have been taking this family’s photos since Charlie was a newborn and it is always a pleasure to see them 🙂 It is so amazing to document a child’s life through photos, and such an honor to share milestones and become friends with awesome people! I remember the first time I met these folks, and they were so warm and inviting and it was no surprise that I immediately felt comfortable in their home.

We spent this session wandering around Folsom by the river and talking about their family’s recent trip to Hawaii…I was living vicariously through their vacation as Sydney recounted how much fun it was watching the kids play at the beach and talking about how much Charlie loved the ocean. I watched the sunlight bounce around in the girl’s lightened hair, fresh from the beach, and I knew this was going to be a great photo session.

In between conversation, we took some photos, and Sydney and Ben played with the kids, and they all smiled and laughed 🙂

These girls are gorgeous!

It might be hectic with two children under the age of two…but there is so much love and affection in this family, it always warms my heart to spend time with them.
