Andrea and Erik welcomed their baby girl into the world this year. This sweet couple welcomed me into their home for their maternity photos, and I was truly honored to return to meet their darling Hilah.

This family is beyond lovely and I felt at peace in their presence. Their well styled home now boasts a very well styled little girl 🙂 She has a head full of hair, the best and sweetest expressions, and has the love of her parents. Andrea and Erik are the kind of new parents that make me wish I could snuggle my babes again as newborns. They take me back to a place of contentment and adoration of new life.

I wish the very best for this new family of three. May they have good fortune and grow together as a family in their first year with Hilah. Congratulations!

Sacramento Newborn Photographer | Baby Emily

My sweet, sweet bride from 2013, Andrea, called me earlier this year to talk maternity photos. We had a beautiful sunset session to celebrate her pregnancy and I was thrilled when she asked for newborn photos as well.

Her baby girl is as precious as her mama. Andrea and Jason have been enjoying the ups and downs of being new parents. The sleepless nights and soothing their little girl’s cries are worth it when she smiles and snuggles in close. I fondly (and sometimes not so fondly) recall my own boys in their newborn phase. It feels like it lasts so long yet seems to fly by in hyper speed. There really is nothing sweeter than cuddling close with your fresh, new baby. Even when the days and nights blur together into the craziness that is having a newborn in your home it is such a joyful time. I am so happy I was able to document her in all of her tiny glory.

I am excited to share some images from their session today. Much love and congratulations to the new parents! I can’t wait to see her grow up 🙂 thank goodness for the power of Facebook!

Sacramento Newborn Photographer | Baby Caleb

Oh this family. I have blogged so many sessions with Gina and her crew. When she added hew newest little bundle…a sweet baby boy…this year I was thrilled to photograph them once again. There are no words to describe how rich their lives are. As teachers, both Gina and her husband work with children all day. They have patience and love to share beyond their own family and I am always struck by how parents find even more love to share with a new baby.

Big sister Allie is energetic and full of fun and life! I adore her and when her baby brother needed a diaper change or nursing, we spent time taking photos of her. She shared her knowledge of the world and her new family with me 🙂 I cannot wait to see this sweet girl again!

Newborn babies have become some of my favorite subjects to photograph. They never listen, don’t do as they are told 😉 but they fill me with such joy I count the days until my next baby-client comes into the world!

All the love in the world to this family! Gina, I love how far we have come (from our junior high days) and it is never too soon to see you again! Congratulations on your baby boy!
