Andrea and Brian are one of those special couples that radiate love and affection. I have known Andrea a long time, since she and my husband met working on the Sac State campus at Peak Adventures. I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement years back in 2013. They were married in an intimate ceremony in Hawaii, which totally reflects their laid back personalities. They welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world this summer and I cannot wait to share a few images of their precious daughter. Their home is full of photos of the two of them celebrating all of the milestones they have achieved together, and soon their home will be full of photos of their baby girl. Congrats on your new addition!!!

Between the time Melissa and TJ met me for their maternity session and the day I dropped by for their newborn session they finished working on their baby girl’s nursery, brought home baby, celebrated with family, and had completely fallen in love with their new addition. I was smitten with baby Isla from the moment I met her. She is a dream, sweet, cuddly, and has dimples and perfect baby chubbiness for days. I can see why they are infatuated with her.

I was thrilled to head back to their home and spend some time documenting this sweet newborn phase that flies by so quickly. I cannot think Melissa and TJ enough for trusting me with their photos. This is a huge life event and I am always honored to be welcomed into a home to photograph maternity and newborn.

This pretty much sums up the “ohmygosh we have a baby!” feelings that race through you when you bring home a newborn 🙂
