Sacramento Family Photographer | Best Friends A Girl’s Session

Friends for 10 years.  It seems like a long time, but it went by in a heart-beat.  There is nothing sweeter than good girlfriends, no one can commiserate, pick you up, love you, or make you laugh like a couple of best friends.

I love that I could give these gorgeous girls some photos to document their friendship 🙂  I am also excited about the golden light and beauty in these images.  These girls are beautiful on the inside, where it counts, and I am happy to present to you Victoria, Christina, and Mary.  We headed out to a dirt road in the middle of nowhere.  The drive was scenic and the girls giggled about the roller-coaster roads.  The sun shone brightly and the air was crisp.
Who doesn’t love a floppy hat?Mary, seriously, you are so incredibly gorgeous.  I know you mentioned that you don’t like yourself in photographs. I hope you have changed your mind. You are radiant.I can feel their laughter!Victoria, I do believe you are a stunner!
Sweet friends.I love this photo of the three of you!Christina, work it!This makes me smile so big…I feel warm inside knowing friendships like this exist in the world.A true beauty.Smile!Three friends. Three gorgeous gals. This hat was a hit.A shot with little Lucy, a sweet pup that loves to give kisses!
I bet you can guess these two are sisters.Sassy ladies in the sun! I love the light peeking through Victoria’s hat.

Ladies, thank you so much for braving the chilly air to dance and laugh for your session.  Best friends last a lifetime and I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years…the next 30 years..will bring you.  I love your bond and it inspires me to keep my girlfriends close to my heart.

Folsom Family Photographer | T Family

Stephanie and Robert have been clients for two-years now…and every time I see their beautiful family I am reminded of how FAST time flies!  These sweet children are two of my all-time-favorite-kids, they are spirited, incredibly fun, full of life, and they know how to keep me on my toes!  I was so excited with I talked to Stephanie and we planned our annual holiday photo session…it might have been in the low 80s during our photo shoot, but you can pretend it was a crisp fall afternoon 🙂  We met at the Willow Creek Recreation Area in Folsom, with the soft breeze blowing across the water and sunlight setting lower in the sky.  It was the perfect evening for a holiday session with the T family!

The best part of our sessions together is the gift of photographing and documenting their growth and showing off their incredible personalities!  These photos make me smile every time I look at them.

Oh J – you crack me up 🙂 I think he brought out his sillies for this one! The sunset light was golden and this family was all smiles!
Beautiful girl, I love her little curls 🙂So. much. fun!
One of my absolute favorite things is capturing kids being kids!  Ah, childhood 🙂Sweet family hug!Seriously, how adorable are these two? Oh my goodness!!I adore this photo so much.  I love how J takes care of his little sister. He is so kind and loving. And he is a boy 🙂 this photo is completely naturally them! I love it!These folks are one of the most beautiful families I have had the pleasure of photographing!Of course I always try and get a few shots of the parents alone in every family session.  I love photographing couples, so this type of image is right up my alley! These two are so sweet!

Folsom Family Photographer | Mother + Son at Sunset

I was thrilled to finally meet Angel and her handsome son!  We had been trying to schedule a date that worked for our session for some time and I was excited that the weather was absolutely perfect the day of our photo shoot.  When her little guy hopped out of the car in his dashing fedora, I knew we were going to get magical images!  This little guy’s grandmother also came along and participated in this beautiful family session!

Angel is really stunning and I adore this session so much. Sessions with children are always so much fun and since kids grow so quickly, I love being able to capture some of their mannerisms and personality while they are still toddlers.

They are so sweet together!  The light was perfect, this family is gorgeous, and there is nothing better in life than a grin from a child!Love these playful shots!I smile every time I see this image and his adorable face!  He was wary about smiling at me at first, but he apparently was won over by my charming wit 😉 Hey there!  He insisted on riding in the wagon, then insisted on pulling the wagon.  Then insisted on removing all the items from the wagon and riding in it again 🙂 Mother and son.
What a cute little man.  Seriously, how precious is that hat!Sometimes during a photo session with a child, it is best to let them wander and explore.  I always choose locations that work well for children and he spent some time taking in the great outdoors.  I feel like this sweetly shows his curious nature.I love how the sunset light danced around in the trees behind them.  Fall light is so pretty, I wish evenings were like this all year.Grandma! I sure do love my grandma!A mother’s love.
Beautiful, happy, and playful pretty much sums up this session.
