Historic Folsom Maternity Photographer | Gloria + Philip

Gloria and Philip are two amazing people. I had so much fun with them at their engagement and wedding in 2012. Time does not slow down, and I was not surprised when I heard from Gloria this year and she shared the wonderful news about their new baby (who arrived this summer and was a perfect baby girl!) I realized I never shared photos from their maternity after her baby was born 🙂 I love seeing clients years later. Nothing makes me happier than happy people, folks who are building their futures together, having babies, and enjoying the time of their lives.

Thanks for coming out to Folsom for your photos and huge congrats on your baby girl! Love you two!

Sacramento Newborn Photographer | Baby Emily

My sweet, sweet bride from 2013, Andrea, called me earlier this year to talk maternity photos. We had a beautiful sunset session to celebrate her pregnancy and I was thrilled when she asked for newborn photos as well.

Her baby girl is as precious as her mama. Andrea and Jason have been enjoying the ups and downs of being new parents. The sleepless nights and soothing their little girl’s cries are worth it when she smiles and snuggles in close. I fondly (and sometimes not so fondly) recall my own boys in their newborn phase. It feels like it lasts so long yet seems to fly by in hyper speed. There really is nothing sweeter than cuddling close with your fresh, new baby. Even when the days and nights blur together into the craziness that is having a newborn in your home it is such a joyful time. I am so happy I was able to document her in all of her tiny glory.

I am excited to share some images from their session today. Much love and congratulations to the new parents! I can’t wait to see her grow up 🙂 thank goodness for the power of Facebook!

Sacramento Intimate In Home Maternity Photographer | Andrea

Andrea and her husband welcomed me into their beautiful craftsman home in Sacramento, and I discovered the best pockets of light to show off her beautiful belly during her maternity session. Their style was subdued and classic. I could immediately tell they are purposeful and respect simple beauty and timelessness. They are excitedly expecting their first baby girl this summer, and their home is abuzz with anticipation for her arrival. The occasional glimpse of a baby item mixed with their belongings lets visitors know they are preparing for her arrival.

Andrea positively glows with an effortless grace. She radiates the kind of calm I wish to always have with my children, and I can tell she is going to be a wonderful mama. I was so happy to hear she feels wonderful, is having a perfectly uneventful pregnancy, and I wish her the best for a smooth delivery.

I am looking forward to meeting their sweet girl very soon, and cannot wait to go back and take her photograph. Her parent’s arms are waiting.
