Sacramento Newborn Photographer | Baby Nolan

I had the pleasure of meeting Jenna and Tom at their wedding in 2014. They were married in a gorgeous ceremony surrounded by family and friends. I was thrilled to see them again at their maternity session down in Los Gatos. Since that time, Tom’s family has experienced a terrible loss, the passing of his mother. With the loss came new life in their son. He is very special and already seems wise beyond his years. I wish their new family many years of happiness together as they grow into their new blissful family of three. Little N is now seven months new and I am so honored to share his images here today! He was so alert and awake during his newborn session, I don’t think he wanted to miss one second 🙂

Lake Tahoe Family Photographer | Best Friends

These girls have been best friends since elementary school. Now that they are in their 20s, spread across the globe (literally separated by oceans) they wanted to document their friendship with a fun Tahoe Beach session. The donned their skirts and smiles and we walked the beach and they danced and laughed and were as silly and carefree as when they were children. I have so much love for these sessions. Best friends are forever. I think there are even studies that show spending time with your girlfriends is good for your soul. So much love. I count the days until I can spend some time with my friends, and I adore these sessions so much. I could shoot best friends every day!

Thank you girls for being wild and crazy with me! I love your smiles and your friendship. Don’t ever lose that.

When time flies by and things go fuzzy I will always remember my best friends. These are the days.

Sacramento Family Photographer | Traverso Family in San Diego!

This family is amazing! They have great style, they are super fun, and they are incredibly kind and generous to boot. Rebecca is wildly successful at her business with Rodan+Fields and Joe has been a friend to my husband since they were kids. I had the pleasure of photographing them a while back at their family cabin in Truckee (awesome session in the rain with the kids!) and this winter I was happy to photograph them in their natural habitat at the beach by their house near San Diego.

They were nice enough to let our family stay at their house for the weekend when we headed down to surprise our oldest with a trip to Legoland. San Diego was perfection and we loved hanging out with this family. Our kids hit it off and became instant friends!
