Jenna and her beautiful family have been in my life now for years. I met them at their wedding years ago. After maternity and newborn for both babies we are now like old friends. We have bonded over conversations about raising babies and toddlers. We’ve chatted from everything about honeymoons to travels with the kids. I love her fun and very sweet personality and her generous nature. She is the kind of girl that everyone needs in their life and I am so lucky they come back to me year after year and baby after baby for photos. Sacramento Area Family Photographer | Chloe + Family

This is my beautiful friend, Chloe. She is a fab photographer and I have been friends with her for years. She asked for an extended family session with her in-laws for Christmas. First, it is always rad to photograph another photographer. Nerve wracking, yes, but rad. I loved the dynamics between the kids and their grandparents and uncle. The whole session was a blast. Not to mention her styling was top notch!

I have photographed Chloe before, and we were both actually in Seattle to photograph our friend, Bre. We’ve been to conferences together and she is an all around wonderful person! I cannot thank her enough for trusting me to take these shots of her family for the holiday 🙂

Sacramento Maternity Photography | Jenna + Tom

Jenna and Tom and their growing family are my favs. I met them years ago and have had the chance to do some fun family photos with them since. We met for their first maternity and newborn and now with their second! They now have a little boy and a sweet girl! I love following along on Instagram. It is awesome to be able to watch these babies grow up. Time flies and nothing makes time go by faster than seeing children grow. Every time I think I am still a youngster I take a peek at a child who was just a baby a blink ago.

Jenna and Tom are cool parents. They love their kids so much. Whenever we get together for another session, we talk kids and life and catch up on all the new things. I love love love seeing my families again and again. Honestly, I know I have said this before, it is heartwarming. We get this awesome opportunity to build a relationship from maternity to newborn and beyond. I cannot think all these beautiful families for coming back to me over the years. It makes me so happy!

Choosing a location for Maternity photos

When my young families have children, I like to find a location that has some room for play. The littlest members of the family (to include sweet pups) like to run and frolic and get their energy out. I loved this little gem, perfect for kids and perfect for photos. When the kids can play everyone is happier! Happy kids happy life 🙂 A little mud and some pretty skies made this session phenomenal. We ran around and chased Nolan and little Woody the dog, session and exercise in one quick hour 🙂
